who are these people?

17 dots is the work of several employees at eMusic, a digital music service. It is by no means an official endeavor, and its opinions do not reflect those of eMusic. Rather, its opinions reflect on the ignorance of its own writers. If you would like to contact 17 dots or any of its contributors, click here to drop us a line. You can also follow us on Twitter.

And here they are.

THE REGULARS

J. Edward Keyes, Editor-In-Chief

Sujan Hong, Manager, Label Relations

The Park Slope Gastronome

My last meal on earth will be kimchi fried rice with a runny fried egg. My twin sons are named for singers (hint: not Gunnar and Matthew or Daryl and John). I would like to have a pint with Nick Lowe. The last record I purchased was the Icky Mettle reissue on vinyl. I really miss Friday Night Lights.

Ilya Zinger, Member Services

Ilya spends entirely too much time studying and writing academically about music in the hopes of one day earning a graduate degree and all the fringe benefits that go along with it. He unwinds with frequent listens to Jim Jones mixtapes. Being an immigrant from the Eastern Bloc his key musical influences are ABBA, Queen and Led Zeppelin.
