hell yeah.
i have a bunch of prior PJH records, but have almost never listened to them; something about her was offputting to me, or maybe i just slept through too much of the 90s (musically) to appreciate her. still, this new album is totally brilliant. it reminds me (in theme and vibe, not lyrics and music) of The Queen Is Dead, and saying this is the highest — absolute highest — possible praise an album can get from me.
