Thanks.
And thanks for the explanation, makes much more sense when we understand the reasons for some of the apparently odd things that happen.

Sounds like you need some different site architecture to me!
But then, I think we all know that anyway :-)

Hey xtrev: Your comment got caught in spam for some reason, no idea why -- I waved it through and it bumped everyone else down accordingly.

So we would love to show you the U.S. Artists to Watch hub - trouble is, because of our site architecture (and I'll speak candidly here because, hey, why not?) if we clear it for UK/EU, it's going to start showing up all over those sites, and if it's full of records that are either on different labels outside the US, or are unavailable for download outside the US, that's going to make for a frustrating experience.

We genuinely wrestle with this every time we build a hub and we haven't quite nailed the perfect solution yet. The UK/EU version will no doubt be very similar to the US one, and it will be showing up very soon.

I understand, and it certainly isn't a huge deal (like I said the hub itself looks fantastic). Just would be curious to see what is on the horizon that you guys are excited about.

Hey Craig: We'll try to put one together; we don't really have a way to feature bands on the site until their albums come out, but I'll see if we can brainstorm another list to post here.

Looks fantastic, Joe. Any way we could get something added for artists whose albums haven't released yet, but are being buzzed about? I'm thinking artists like Sleigh Bells.

I realize you won't have write ups on them yet, but even a simple list would help me stay ahead of the game, so to speak.

Hey Joe, just because they might not be available on eMu to us non-US customers doesn't mean we wouldn't still like to read what you guys are picking out as worthwhile new talent. And if it generates a few more overseas sales for the bands mentioned, where's the harm?

Unless it's all Country music of course.
You can still keep most of that.
