		<description>fantastic interview, Jayson. Gilbert is one of those few musicians that deserve the hype and live up to it. His intelligence and down to earth nature are quite promising for the NY Phil and their future. Nice job.</description>

One of the cool things I see is that he can &quot;hear the score,&quot; i.e., Gilbert can open a sheet of written music and hear -- without the music actually being played -- what the piece sounds like.  That&#039;s an amazing and rare talent.</description>
