The Avett Brothers have a new record out, the Rick Rubin-produced I And Love and You. And while we aren’t currently offering that record on eMusic, we thought we’d provide the next best thing. Starting today, in the U.S., all Avett Brothers catalog titles are on sale. You read it right! You can go here for a handy hub to introduce you to the Brothers. From there, you’ll notice that all Avett Brothers full-lengths are now 6 Credits, while the EPs come in at just 4 Credits. Ladies and Gentlemen, meet your new favorite band.

Wow, that’s a special that would make me check out a band’s EP without even previewing it…
I can access The Second Gleam EP for 8 credits, but not the promised 4…
Is this special only for people on the US site, so those of us forced to use the Canadian site don’t get the bargain?
No special pricing on the Canadian version of Emusic?

It’s US-only for now because that US is the only territory with album pricing at present — we’re expecting that to change in the new year.
Joe, are we likely to be getting album pricing in the UK in the new year too? (that’s probably the recent change in the US that I’d most like to see happening in the UK too. It seems like you’re testing these changes in the US before making them available in other regions?)
Sorry for the duplicates earlier – the captcha wasn’t displaying, and I thought I might not be submitting my posts at all.
