Just a head’s up that tomorrow, Al Green week will commence on the site with the addition of his key ’70s records — just an unbelievably incredible collection of music that everyone (and we mean everyone) should have at their disposal. Songs like “For the Good Times,” seen below on Soul Train:
BTW, how cool is it that the month of March saw us doing career retrospectives on Animal Collective, Motley Crue, MF Doom and Al Green? Who else can say that?
This is good… It’s not another Rolling Stones-esque tease, though? Is it?

Since these Al Green releases are through Fat Possum, which has been here for a while, I think they’ll stick around. But I’m grabbing the ones I want this month just in case. Good thing my downloads just refreshed, and these albums are often 9-10 tracks.
