concluding doom week

To close out our little site-wide celebration of the great new DOOM record Born Like This, video of Doom’s appearance with De La Soul on Last Call With Carson Daly from several years back. They perform the fantastic “Rock Co Kane Flow” from De La’s way-underrated The Grind Date. I have watched this 7 times in the last two days. Also, I want to present the (possibly idiotic) opinion that most of what came after Three Feet High and Rising is better/more rewarding than Three Feet High and Rising itself. Discuss.

Facebook keeps telling me I should go see Dr. Octagon Vs. Dr. Dooom next friday. Probably cause I posted the new Doom album via connect.
I think Facebook knows too much about me and it’s kinda creepy.
Idiotic? Hardly. Setting aside the groundbreaking-ness of “Three Feet”, I would place it towards the bottom of De La albums in terms of quality.
Thanks for the video. Is it really DOOM or is he doing it ‘villain style’ again? Guess we’ll never know.
@Bryan Yup that’s why I is not liking the Social Networks
. . . wiat how the hell is kool keith going to battle himself and didn’t Dooooooom already kill Octa like 50 times LOL
Three Feet High and Rising is probably my least favorite De La album. So I don’t find that idiotic at all. De La Soul is Dead #1. Stakes is High #2.
“Afro Connections at Hi 5″!!! I love DLS is Dead.
Yeah, Stakes is High is probably my favorite, with …Dead coming in close behind. I also think the second AOI has its moments.
