coming soon: new ruins

A few years ago, I got taken by the debut from a group called New Ruins. As it turned out, quite a few eMusic members did, too (though, from a glance at the User Reviews, it appears that just as many did not).
If you’re in the former camp, you might want to check out the group’s new single “Lake” from their forthcoming album. It has all the darkness and jangle of its predecessor, and will appeal to fans of the National or Tindersticks.
I totally forgot about New Ruins! Totally loved that first album…can’t wait to hear the new one.
Hmm this has nothing to do with the excellent Japanese band? They should change their name to avoid confusion IMO.
I recommend the Japanese band [url=http://www.emusic.com/artist/Ruins-MP3-Download/11606999.html]Ruins[/url] too! A different kind of Drum & Bass.
