I listened to Awesome Wells for about 12 hours straight yesterday. It’s brilliant. Between that and Bruce Peninsula, I’d have to say that 2009 is off to a good start!

From what I understand, the Goblin album is a concept album following a journey made by an insect (the title roughly translates as “The Fantastic Voyage of Mark The Beetle”). Sounds like a fairly good outing for the group, who I pretty much have to like as a fan of horror movies and early Argento…

The Atmosphere album’s not available to me in Spain, but there’s another album of theirs I noticed that I haven’t picked up yet, so I’ll get that instead

i confess to checking for both echospace and miasmah at least a couple times a month in vain hope, as well as a couple other labels which have slipped my mind. also, i love goblin, in a totally non-randon, non-quirky and non-ironic way. they just kick ass, one of the most underrated bands of the 70s. awesome wells sounds cool. thanks for the heads up. um… yeah.

I’m digging the Awesome Wells. On a side note, I don’t know if there is a way to request new labels that might be considered for the emusic roster, but I would be really interested if there was a system in place to do so. For the record: Echospace and Miasmah would be very welcome additions. Thanks!
