You know we will gladly follow our eMusic Selects bands to the end of the earth, and so when they happen to pop into our backdoor, we are quintupletty excited. And so it is with the Rural Alberta Advantage‘s first-ever US performance next Tuesday, January 27th, at Piano’s in NYC. I mean, the RAA? Live? In a super small venue? With two good NYC bands on the bill (Ben + Vesper and the Loom)? Yeah, we’ll be there. Only $8. Get the details here. No advance tickets online that I can tell, so you might want to get there early. There’s already plenty of buzz.

Every once in a while I wish I was back in NYC for work again. This is one of those times.
Are we gonna Get a eMusic Live of this?? I finally downloaded the rest of the Album, and while I don’t love the other tracks as much as I loved the First two I got, It’s an amazing band and the whole album Definitly Grows on you.
I would love to, but I don’t think there will be a chance. I think the RAA might have a few special things in store for eMusic folks later this year, though. We’re all family now.
Speaking of Music live… is that program pretty much as dead as it seems? Has anything new been added in the last three years?
It actually got bought by the Orchard a year or two ago. So I don’t think it exists as a living thing, as far as I know. Just an archive at this point.
I think Yancey just named RAA as eMusic’s backdoor band…
I’m sure it’s no where near as naughty as I’m taking it, but I’m still tickeled that yr so excited.
hahahahahaha. oh flamgirlant.
just like that?
