Just read through the whole list, found two of my quotes in there:

I totally agree with you on those two BRILLIANT quotes, Jayson (even though I didn’t like either album). I really want to know whose those were! Also nice to see Dr. Dog so high up–it kept jumping in and out of my list but in the end got edged out…just barely.

Finally! Two of my favorites, Rooks and Skeletal Lamping, made it. I may have made one of the Shearwater remarks but I really can’t be sure.

I imagine Okkervil River will be up there in the top 10. Visiter is a decent album with some great tracks (“Red and Purple” is one of the best pop confections this year), but I’m nto sold on it as being a great album by any means.

I’m surprised at how many of us loved Skeletal Lamping; it’s a very polarizing album. I know my wife gave me a filthy look and told me to turn that (crap) off when I listened to it at home when it came out, but I love its wacked-out madness.

Excited for the top ten!
