This week on our East Village Radio show, I busted out a ton of new songs from great up and coming artists, most of whom are already available on eMusic. Pay particularly close attention to Rainbow Arabia — my newest obsession — as well as Stricken City, which is also awesome. We touch on Halloween just a bit, but mostly it’s about good tunes.

#7 already?! Lordy, I have some catching up to do. Currently only on #2 show. Really enjoying the mixing and hoping you continued with that.

    Golden Silvers, “Arrows of Eros”
Nice flavors of Dexys Midnight Runner, with Oingo Boingo & Pogue-ish seasoning. A little Peaty (1) but an over all good Sound

Loved how you went from utter chaos (Dominique Leone, “Kaine”) to Peaceful and Lazy (David Crosby, “Laughing”)

1970 . . . and it was awsome (Got into the Stooges when I started with eMusic)

Started doing actual job work so no reviews on the rest but I’m enjoying the show as always

Glad you are into Golden Silvers! I am so into them now. Dunno about Selects yet; I pitched them. Awaiting word.

    And Peaty? Can you splain?

  5. 5 Nergal

Sorry I can’t splain because it has no meaning to anything I just needed a third adjective to fill out my Tasting Metaphor :D
