Any excuse to post a picture of cool-looking Baobab trees.

Very happy and pleased to have a new label World Circuit join us in Europe. Specialising mostly in music from West Africa (big name: Ali Farka Toure) and Cuba (take a bow Buena Vista Social Club), World Circuit have some of the best acts out there. For me this week it’s all been about Orchestra Baobab’s most recent album Made In Dakar. Released last year, Dakar is joyful Afro-Cuban music – but it’s certainly not the only great album on the label. Start your World Circuit Tour here.

Yeah I’m gonna be conceded and assume you mean my post (b/c as far as I know you’re not in Europe and can’t get the world circuit stuff (I wish I could get BSC :( )

I went ahead and wasted my 8 downloads on it; probably use it. . . for making music GOD you guys and perverts :D

    2 things:

    1) all the frowning emoticons in the world couldn’t express how i feel about not being able to access world circuit. that’s right: ALL the frownies.

    2) i love that jade & ali is labeled as “classical vocal,” and the link to a q&a with simone dinnerstein right below does weird things for me. actually, come to think of it, if you played dinnerstein and soundsss together it might be kind of awesome…
