Man, I wish I could bring myself to like this album… I just don’t dig it that much (though I have listened to it time and time again trying to see what I missed). It’s would seem to be the kind of thing I would like, too. I dig Daft Punk, Kitsune, the Ed Banger aesthetic in general… Justice just don’t do it for me. I’m sure there’s something wrong with me, right?

Anyway, if you’re into hyper-frenetic French dance music, give Danger (mislabeled at eMu and categorized with some punk band called “The Danger”) a try. My wife got it on a sampler of some sort (specifically, the track “11h30″), and my three and a half year old son heard it & decided it was the greatest thing in the world. Which means I’ve heard it at least a hundred times now. And though it’s burned itself into my very consciousness, I still kinda like it. Which is saying something, I think.

Turn it up louder/listen on a better system
It can sound like noise if you listen under less than ideal conditions, IMO.
Also setting is appropriate, Friday night with drinks…can’t go wrong..wooo!
This particular song isn’t one of their strongest IMO.
Plus the mangled video sound doesn’t do it any favors.
I was going to buy the album at some point.
