colin meloy = bigger than obama
The things you learn on the internet! Yesterday, conservative columnist Robert Knight penned an editorial explaining that the reason for the 75,000 people at the Barack Obama campaign rally in Portland on Sunday was not the presumed Democratic presidential nominee. Oh no! Not at all! Instead it was a free show by noted Biggest Band in the Universe the Decemberists! Of course! As Knight notes:
Unmentioned in national reporting was the fact that Obama was preceded by a rare, 45-minute free concert by actual rock stars The Decemberists. The Portland-based band has drawn rave reviews from Rolling Stone magazine, which gave their 2005 album Picaresque four and a half stars (out of five), and another four and a half stars for 2007′s The Crane Wife.
Wow! Barack must be thanking his lucky stars that Colin Meloy decided to save his campaign! Note how Knight also quotes Pitchfork with a straight face: “And look who’s arrived to give Obama the extra push he needs to get on the ballot in November. Why, it’s none other than those kings and queens of the month after, the Decemberists!” Maybe it’s time for Hillary to give the National a call to save her campaign!

Also… part of the issue is that if it is true that this band opened for Obama and played the Soviet National Anthem why has the media not played that up? I know there is no bias.(A little of my own sarcasm)
I do bet you did not even question the 75000 estimate….. as that would not serve your ends.
I am betting you were on board the Obama train before you knew anything about him. Many of you hadn’t a clue about him yet still signed up. What a bunch of lemmings.
