Just dance while the CDR spins

Time to share my Muxtape. Thursday last week I was DJ-ing at Lovelife, a night put on in Camden’s Lock Tavern by my friend Anna-Marie. I was part of a four-woman DJ team, consisting of Anna-Marie, myself, Marianna and Annabel. Given the similarity of our names we called oursleves Les Annaquites. We were briefed to play ‘lady-led music’ and the Muxtape is a sample of my portion, though I doubt the contents will be a shock to regular Dots readers.

Ummm can someone inform me what is meant by “permission” if I want to make a Muxtape myself. I know I asked this out of place last week, but this is now a correct place for my question.
@Anna I love the fact that all four of you have a variation on the same name and that you used to to your advantage for your show.
MiDoJo, do you mean the permission it says you need to upload a song? If so, yeah it is a legal grey area and most everyone expects Muxtape to encounter the wrath of the RIAA. Until then, I’ve found it invaluable. I burned though 100 plus eMu downloads just yesterday on African music I found via some muxes.
