So, we’re gonna stay cryptic for now, but tomorrow is going to be a big day for all US subscribers. (Sorry non-Americans!) We won’t give away too much, but there is a clue somewhere on the New on eMusic page. Check back tomorrow for the goods!
Hopefully it will be more than just the soundtrack. Emusic recently brought in ABKCO and to the best of my knowledge all of the pre-Sticky Fingers Stones albums are on that label. Beggars Banquet, Let it Bleed, Their Satanic Majesties Request, Decembers Children…they may all be here soon….
Exciting news for eMu. As a UK subscriber I can console myself with i) the fact I’ve got ‘em on cd anyway – like a lot of folks here; and ii) 4 really nice albums turned up yesterday on Anti – http://www.emusic.com/browse/l/b/-dbm/a/0-0/1400137069 68/0.html. That Youth Group record is really fine.
I for one will not be at all disappointed if The Trolling Stones is the only thing I’ll be missing out on not being in the US – I was worried it was Aphex Twin I’d be deprived of!
Wentworth Primary Players? The Stones?
A soundtrack? That’s my guess.
Sun Kil Moon working finally???
(OK, I know, it’s the Stones, innit?)
We’re stumbling in the dark here – can you shine some light on this?
The new Martin Scorsese film “Shine A Light” documenting The Rolling Stones opens on April 4th…this is most likely the soundtrack…

ABKCO is US-only as well…
Continuing the Rolling Stones theme, the “New on eMusic” page is currently featuring the Brian Jonestown Massacre.
The picture of a kid sticking his/her tongue out looks suspiciously like the famous Rolling Stones logo.

Probably just the crappy Jamming with Edward album…. Oh, wait, aren’t the early animal’s albums on that label too.
Oh man. For the first time ever I am emailing a label to plead with them to make their catalogue available to us. Man.
More Peter Lipa?

Don’t why the link doesn’t work add a (plus sign) between ABKCO and Records.

And the Shine A Light s/t is on Interscope, so its not that.
