Can't believe it... just after I submit the post above about Moodymann's lack of availability in the UK, I click on the Black Dog's best of... same thing! I know there's a whole distribution/legal thang going on here, but jeez you know how to tease!

OMG... Black Mahogani. Amazing album, I've only got it on vinyl and really, really need it on MP3. So, heart racing, I click the link. Aaaargh, not available to UK! Blaaaah. Oh well, must get round to sorting out that vinyl ripping.

For the lucky ones; Runaway, I'm doing fine and Shades of Jae are fantastic slices of Moodymann's take on detroit tech house. A great, great album.

I'm a Meat Puppets fan of sorts. And their new record sucks ass. Sorry. No charms to speak of. Just listen to "Meat Puppets II" more, that's my advice.

The black dog thing is kinda a greatest hits, in that everything they released was amazing. but more accurately, book of dogma collects three of their early (late '80s, early '90s, I believe) and very out-of-print eps: The Virtual, Age of Slack, and The Black Dog.

and on what, in physical copies, is the second disc, you've got the entirety of the Parallel LP released in which was released in 1995. (that starts with the track "parallel," for those interested.)
