na: lightning round edition

A quick-hit look at today’s new arrivals, which includes material from Palomar and Ladytron.

Palomar, All Things, Forests: Soft New York indie rock, sweet and inviting. Their first record in three years; this one is quite notable.

Inner City Unit, Punkadelic: Odd Krautrock/post-punk/no-wave concoction led by Nik Turner of Hawkwind, originally released in 1982. It’s definitely interesting, but can’t go much farther than that.

Last Step, Last Step: Slick little IDM record by the Venetian Snares dude.

Ladytron, Soft Power: Single from Witching Hour with several remixes (stream one of them from Pitchfork here), but I still like the original best.
