The National’s new album, The Boxer, will be released on May 22, but there are a number of previews floating around tied to an upcoming documentary on the band. You can find most of the preview clips at Daily Motion, but the newest and last of these is by far my favorite:

I like some of the photography on this site. Out of curiosity, what gear was used for the above photo?
the images are a mix, really. many times i use my own photos (you can see them on my flickr page here: http://flickr.com/photos/yancey/), and others i search via flickr tag for a unique image that captures what we are covering. in those instances, you can always click on the photo to go to the photographer’s photo stream, where you can see what camera was used. this particular photographer uses the nikon d50 (which is good to know, as i’m considering buying one!).
